“Janea, use your voice and amplify the voice of others. Never be fearful of sharing the truth.”

That’s what my mother always told me. Those were also the words of my late grandmother, Ora Skidmore Heim. As an advocate, I will continue to shed light on important issues that profoundly impact our communities of color and amplify the voices of Black women throughout the country! I will never be fearful of using my voice and being on the right side of history!
